• Creating a community of entrepreneurial women who actively promote the values of sustainability.

• Creating a professional teaching kitchen space which will serve also as a communal workshop center and a safe space for women.

• Creating ongoing strategic alliances with organizations who support projects benefiting our community.

HOW WE ARE DOING THIS

We Identify local, at-risk, women who have initiative, drive, commitment and ambition.

We offer mentorship: we train cooks, teach marketing skills, coordinate local partnerships and support ethical personal and professional financial practices. We instill in our trainees the necessary and essential building blocks of sustainability and ecological consciousness in an increasingly fragile environment, and we seed viable projects reflecting those values with micro funding.

Our hands-on mentorship approach has many successes, among them the women who produce home-made, healthy, sustainable food and beverage products now available for sale in local supermarkets. Look for them under the labels:  PROVIDE & CONQUER 

Our diverse group of Board officers and trustees provide access to their unique skills, talents and business acumen offering one-on-one mentorship and training in various economic fields, i.e., food and beverage, marketing, accounting and tourism/hospitality skills.

Recognising that not every women desires to be an entrepreneur we ensure that our trainees are poised to gain access to higher wages and better job opportunities through our training programs.

We are:

• Funding women as they begin their journey towards starting and operating their own business.

• Providing guidance to women to start a new business from the initial business plans to the navigation of bureaucratic and tax regulations.

• Offering support networks for women to enter into the workplace by placing them in positions of leadership and decision-making, renewing their sense of self determination and freedom in making choices that affect their lives.

• Offering a communal space where women can learn to create artisan products.

• Creating workshops and networking events focusing specifically on empowering women.
